Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of Foodservice sales and business management experience.
  • Experience managing Foodservice broker organizations.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
  • Established Foodservice relationships within the Central Region.
  • Experience developing and executing strategic territory and account plans.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the region.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with major Foodservice distributors such as Sysco, US Foods, Gordon Food Service, Performance Food Group, and key regional distributors.
  • Strong relationships within non-commercial segments such as: Healthcare, Education, Business & Industry, Senior Living, Hospitality
  • Experience managing regional chain accounts and local national accounts.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and other business management tools.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver annual sales objectives for volume, net sales, and operating profit across assigned accounts and territories.
  • Create, manage, and execute a robust sales pipeline aligned to business growth goals.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities throughout the region.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers across non-commercial Foodservice segments.
  • Establish top-to-top relationships with regional operators, local national accounts, distributors, and key influencers.
  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans for assigned customers and distributors.
  • Manage and develop broker partners throughout the region.
  • Execute annual and quarterly sales priorities through broker teams.
  • Provide coaching, accountability, and market direction to maximize results.
  • Lead targeted sales campaigns supporting key business initiatives.
  • Drive distribution gains and customer adoption of new products and innovations.
  • Accelerate speed-to-market execution for new product launches.
  • Utilize business analytics and market insights to identify opportunities and solve challenges.
  • Develop strategic business plans that support sustainable growth.
  • Collaborate with demand planning teams on volume forecasts tied to new and lost business.
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Finance, Supply Chain, Category Management, and Sales leadership.
  • Share best practices and success stories across regional and national teams.
  • Represent Post at industry events, distributor meetings, and national conferences.
