The Mechanic provides mechanical and preventative maintenance duties in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of equipment, trucks, and vehicles at the location. This role involves phone support for problem-solving and proper operation, high-level troubleshooting of equipment and performance issues, and maintaining tools and equipment. The mechanic is responsible for performing or scheduling all fleet repairs and maintenance with proper documentation to meet regulatory agency and APC policies, keeping the garage and work area clean and organized, and reporting employee, vendor, or equipment issues to the Location Manager. Developing and maintaining positive work relationships with co-workers, customers, vendors, and government agencies is also a key aspect of this role, along with displaying honest and ethical work behaviors and maintaining a safe working environment in compliance with all regulations and APC policies. The position requires maintaining all required licenses and/or certifications needed to perform mechanical duties and operate equipment at the location. Other duties as assigned.
