Regional Facilities & Maintenance Specialist
About The Position
Babilou Family US is seeking a proactive, hands-on Facilities Technician to maintain safe, clean, and welcoming environments across multiple school locations. This role is crucial in ensuring our schools are code-compliant and licensing-ready, contributing to operational excellence through timely maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate will build strong relationships with school leadership and vendors, acting as a reliable facilities partner and taking pride in maintaining buildings and outdoor areas that reflect the company's standards and values. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass required background and fingerprint checks.
- Basic proficiency using smartphones, tablets, or laptops for work orders and communication.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs across multiple school locations, including HVAC filter changes, basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, playground equipment, fencing, and landscaping.
- Respond promptly and effectively to facility service requests, urgent issues, and emergencies.
- Conduct routine safety, health, and building condition checks; proactively identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
- Maintain accurate Property Condition Reports, work orders, and documentation using company-approved systems.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with school leadership regarding repairs, timelines, and recommendations.
- Support small capital projects, improvements, and seasonal preparation.
- Represent the Facilities team with professionalism, accountability, and a service-oriented mindset.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
