About The Position

The Regional EH&S Manager is Samet's safety leader across the Charleston region's project portfolio. Working hands-on across multiple active job sites, you'll champion our Safety and Incident Prevention Program, serve as the trusted technical resource for project teams, and hold the line on compliance and culture. It is a role with real responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of every person who steps onto a Samet site. Your mission is to ensure every team member, trade partner, client, and community member goes home safely, every single day. You'll set the tone for our safety culture and deliver it The Samet Way — with rigor, follow-through, and genuine care for the people behind the work. Requirements

• OSHA 30-Hour and/or 500-Hour Construction Safety Training Certification.
• Proven experience in safety management within the general construction industry.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication.
• OSHA 30-Hour and/or 500-Hour Construction Safety Training Certification required.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and the ability to manage safety documentation and reporting in industry-standard construction software.
• Proficiency in SharePoint and the ability to collaborate via Zoom or Teams and type professional correspondence.
• Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions, regulations, plans, and specifications.

Nice To Haves

• Additional credible safety accreditations.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (preferred).
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, confident safety leadership across multiple job sites throughout your region.
• Serve as the go-to technical resource and trusted advisor for project teams.
• Drive Samet's Safety and Incident Prevention Program with passion and purpose.
• Maintain rigorous compliance with OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
• Conduct thorough investigations of incidents, accidents, and near misses.
• Perform comprehensive safety assessments and communicate findings to regional leadership.
• Train associates and trade partners on critical safety topics.
• Lead engaging safety orientations that set the tone for our safety culture.
• Facilitate meaningful safety meetings that drive awareness and accountability.
• Review and manage safety submittments with meticulous attention to detail.
• Work effectively with our diverse workforce and trade partner community, and provide expert guidance to subcontractors when they need support.
• Build relationships across teams that make safety a shared commitment.
• Build client and internal-customer confidence by exceeding expectations, solving problems quickly, and following through on commitments.
