About The Position

Provides leadership and direction to the multi-site Distribution team. Continuously improves cost, quality and service through leadership development, process understanding and ownership. Ensures there is appropriate capacity and capability to meet customer requirements. Conducts long and short-range capacity studies to determine requirements for new equipment, facilities, and direct labor. Partners with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service, IS and Distribution to optimize the entire supply chain. This role offers a flexible hybrid work schedule (Monday-Friday) located at our Home Office in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The hybrid work schedule is 3 days/week onsite at Home Office and 2 days/week from home.

Requirements

  • Bachelors in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Business Management, Finance or related field
  • 3-10 years of experience in Leadership experience in Distribution, Operations, and/or Supply Chain Management
  • 10 - 15 years of Business experience
  • Ability to learn system skills on own; adaptability

  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance (at least state minimum- more might be required), acceptable driving record per Schreiber Foods discretion, and vehicle that will ensure applicant can meet the travel necessities of the position are required.
  • Schreiber requires that an employee have authorization to work in the country in which the role is based.
  • In the event, an applicant does not have current work authorization, Schreiber will determine, in its sole discretion, whether to sponsor an individual for work authorization. However, based on immigration requirements, not all roles are suitable for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Innovates, leads and maintains control of Distribution initiatives related to cost, quality, service and safety.
  • Facilitates leadership development amongst direct reports.
  • Articulates, develops, and implements a comprehensive Distribution strategy and related systems which best support the entire organization.
  • Manages the relationships and acts as primary liaison with external warehouse suppliers
  • Assures implementation of regulatory (safety, environmental and food safety) programs that apply to the Distribution centers
  • Standardizes major Distribution processes and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and KPIs.
  • Leads applicable procedural changes within areas of Supply Chain, Customer Service and Operations to constantly improve the communication and alignment between departments.
