About The Position

This involves focusing on regional or upstream distribution centers, target.com fulfillment centers, or import warehouses. The work encompasses Distribution Center Operations, Quality Management, and Distribution Center Productivity, all aimed at optimizing people, process, and technology investments for an evolving business. An Operations Manager influences with a focus on safety, leadership, excellence, self-motivation, problem-solving, and teamwork. This role involves fostering a “safety first” culture, establishing oneself as an engaging and inclusive leader, and maximizing team productivity, growth, and development. Managers create a positive work environment through real-time observation and constructive feedback. A sense of urgency is required to ensure operational plans are executed, performance and budget goals are achieved, and teams are coordinated. The position offers autonomy to innovate with new approaches for efficiency and process flow optimization, supported by an environment of calculated risk and testing. Requirements

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated leadership ability, with the ability to engage and motivate others
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Good reasoning, conflict-management, and analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to access all areas of the Distribution Center, including the mezzanine platforms
• Able to read and interpret necessary policies and procedures to perform updates and operate systems and other programs within the Distribution Center, for example, ability to traverse conveyor crossovers
