About The Position
We are seeking a Pharmacy Tech for a 2-week contract opportunity with the potential to convert into a full-time position. In this role, you will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist and be responsible for supporting prescription fulfillment, IV preparation, and medication prepackaging while ensuring accuracy and compliance with pharmacy standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Support prescription fulfillment
- Prepare IVs
- Prepackage medications
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with pharmacy standards and regulations
- Assist with data entry for prescription processing and reimbursement support
- Help prepare medications for dispensing
- Support the pharmacist in final prescription checks
- Coordinate accurate and timely delivery to customers
- Maintain inventory
- Receive and rotate incoming medications and supplies
- Track lot numbers and expiration dates
- Assist with physical inventory
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including equipment checks for calibration, safety, and cleanliness
