About The Position

Reporting to the National Director, Americas, the Regional Director is the general manager and P&L owner for an assigned U.S. Core region. The role translates strategy into an integrated plan for Member growth, revenue, profitability, Chapter health, retention and expansion. The Regional Director serves as the general manager and P&L owner for an assigned U.S. Core region, translating national strategy and approved business priorities into regional execution.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive multi-market operating leadership.
  • Demonstrated P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting and profitability improvement.
  • Proven success leading a distributed team through multiple leaders.
  • Strong financial-statement literacy and ROI-based decision making.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • MBA or equivalent advanced education.
  • Private-equity-backed, franchise, Membership or recurring-revenue experience.
  • Experience leading transformation and scalable operating models.

Responsibilities

  • Own region revenue, operating expense, contribution margin, productivity and profitability.
  • Lead region budgeting, forecasting and monthly business reviews with Finance.
  • Explain performance versus budget and forecast and implement quantified recovery plans.
  • Build ROI-based cases for headcount, market investment and resource shifts.
  • Translate national priorities into measurable region strategies, goals, and operating plans.
  • Use scorecards and leading indicators to prioritize markets and corrective action.
  • Make disciplined tradeoffs across growth, service, talent and cost.
  • Use data, digital tools and AI-enabled insights to improve forecasting, decision-making and scalable execution.
  • Create one region growth plan with the Director, Regional Development.
  • Align launch capacity, pipeline, sequencing and post-launch stabilization.
  • Use shared scorecards for launch quality, first-year performance and economics.
  • Lead, coach and develop Area Directors.
  • Set clear goals, standards, decision rights and accountability expectations.
  • Conduct talent reviews, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Address performance and capability gaps promptly.
  • Drive net Membership growth, renewal, Chapter health and visitor conversion.
  • Ensure every market has an accountable growth and retention plan.
  • Balance launch pace with quality, sustainability, Member value and financial return.
