About The Position

3i is a rapidly growing, invitation-only community of family offices and private investors sharing deals, insights, and networks. With a focus on alternative and off-market deal flow, shared benefits, and investor services, 3i serves as a kitchen table around which highly engaged high net worth individuals can discuss and debate compelling investment opportunities. Our network of 700+ investors has deployed nearly $1 billion through the community over the past few years since launching. We're looking for a Regional Director to join our New York City headquarters team. Regional Director, NYC The Regional Director at 3i is responsible for ensuring that members derive maximum value from the platform. This is a highly-autonomous role based in our NYC office that includes both setting the strategy for how to engage and grow the 3i network in the New York region as well as executing that strategy to turn it into reality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or sales, preferably in the financial or investment industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel as needed for in-person meetings and events
  • Passion for community, building relationships, and helping people succeed

Responsibilities

  • Setting the regional strategy: Understand members' goals and how 3i can help, be the voice of members to drive 3i forward, set strategy for member engagement and growth.
  • Member engagement: Manage onboarding, conduct quarterly check-ins, connect members with relevant products/services, act as a conduit to the investment team, ensure positive member experience for renewals.
  • Member growth: Drive growth strategy, request and qualify referrals, run a sales process for prospects.
  • Local community-building: Build relationships with prominent individuals, set event and engagement strategy, plan and execute events (partnering with Events team for logistics), identify event themes, curate attendee lists, host events, facilitate small curated meals and larger events.
