The Regional Director role at Sonic Healthcare USA is for an individual who is personable, professional, and confident in their ability to build business relationships and negotiate. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in healthcare markets with an increasing level of responsibility and supervisory experience.

  • MBA or similar graduate degree from an accredited college or university

Responsibilities

  • Oversee compliance within the assigned region.
  • Implement Company and Divisional policies and procedures.
  • Plan activities of the region to ensure operations, financial sustainability and profitability.
  • Provide leadership for all direct reports.
  • Be responsible for profit and loss management within region.
  • Ensure the provision of outstanding patient care.
  • Drive all pertinent business initiatives.
  • Maintain communication with individuals at every level of the organization.
  • Develop strong relationships with Physician practices and facilitates the establishment of strong relationships between physicians and area managers.
  • Deliver the timely completion of supervisory performance appraisals.
  • Review with and hold all subordinate employees accountable for the criteria set within their job descriptions.
  • Lead regular meetings with all managerial and supervisory staff.
  • Report any workplace accidents or injuries to Divisional Safety Officer, Human Resources, and/or President immediately.
  • Complete subordinate employee completion of safety training.
  • Participate in all Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement endeavors for the Division, as necessary.
