About The Position

The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a premier residential and commercial roofing company to hire an experienced and results-driven Area Director for their office in Omaha, NE. This leadership role is responsible for driving branch performance, supporting and developing Sales Managers and Roofing Consultants, maximizing regional profitability, and ensuring operational excellence and consistency across all locations within the assigned region. The Area Director is accountable for driving the overall success, growth, and operational performance of their assigned market(s) and is instrumental in building high-performing teams, cultivating future leaders, and fostering a culture of accountability, trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven success of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and locations
  • Experience developing and executing comprehensive market strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Knowledge of financial management, including P&L responsibility, budgeting, and cost control
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Roofing industry knowledge is a plus
  • Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive market strategies that drive business growth and achieve company objectives
  • Analyze market conditions to identify new opportunities, competitive threats and industry trends
  • Lead regional performance through strategic planning, clear accountability, and disciplined operational execution
  • Champion initiatives that strengthen market presence, increase revenue, and enhance overall profitability
  • Provide leadership, support, and direction to multiple Sales Managers, ensuring they have the tools, resources, and coaching needed to achieve success
  • When Sales Managers are not present within a market, assume direct responsibility for Sales Manager duties, including leading sales teams and overseeing production
  • Monitor branch and district performance, driving operational excellence, consistency, and continuous improvement across all locations
  • Maintain full profit-and-loss responsibility for the region, optimizing revenue growth, cost management, and overall financial performance
  • Ensure operational processes align with company standards while supporting scalability and long-term growth across markets
  • Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with customers, suppliers, business partners, and key stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, effective communication, and successful execution of company initiatives
  • Serve as a trusted regional representative, strengthening partnerships that contribute to business growth and customer success
  • Recruit, attract, and retain top-performing Roofing Consultants and sales leaders
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Sales Managers and their teams, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance
  • Support the onboarding, training, and ongoing development of new Roofing Consultants to accelerate productivity and success
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and create development plans that support professional growth
  • Identify and prepare future leaders to strengthen organizational succession and long-term talent development
  • Promote and exemplify the company’s purpose, mission, and values throughout the region
  • Drive exceptional customer experiences by overseeing service standards and resolving escalated customer concerns effectively and professionally
  • Ensure quality expectations are consistently met across all operations, with projects completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards

  • Support organizational growth initiatives and operational improvements as needed
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support regional and company-wide objectives
