About The Position

OneSchool Global is seeking an exceptional educational leader to serve as Regional Director of Studies. Working in close partnership with the Regional Head of School, the role ensures the consistent implementation of the OneSchool Global Learning to Learn Framework, drives excellence in teaching and learning, strengthens student outcomes, and ensures educational programs, systems, and support services operate effectively and in accordance with organizational expectations. The role provides leadership to Regional curriculum, student support, digital learning and student systems teams, ensuring educational priorities are translated into consistent practice across all campuses while balancing regional requirements with global educational standards.

Requirements

  • Significant experience leading curriculum, teaching and learning across multiple campuses or educational settings.
  • Master's Degree required at a minimum
  • Valid Superintendent and/or Director of Curriculum certification/licensure
  • Relevant teaching qualification and educational leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated experience improving student outcomes through strategic educational leadership.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum design, assessment, educational quality assurance and instructional leadership.
  • Experience delivering student support, inclusive education or intervention programs.
  • Strong understanding of educational technology, digital learning and student information systems.
  • Experience using educational data to drive improvement and decision making.
  • Demonstrated experience leading geographically dispersed teams.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking, planning and organizational capability.
  • Ability to lead change and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly across the Region and globally as required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of the OneSchool Global Learning to Learn Framework across all campuses.
  • Provide strategic leadership for curriculum, assignment and teaching and learning across Primary, Secondary and Community Curriculum programs.
  • Ensure curriculum delivery aligns with regional regulatory requirements and global educational expectations.
  • Lead the development, implementation and review of regional curriculum plans and educational priorities.
  • Promote evidence-based teaching practices and continuous improvement in educational quality.
  • Ensure consistency in assignment design, curriculum resources and learning experiences across the Region.
  • Monitor educational quality and implement improvement initiatives where required.
  • Lead regional strategies that improve student achievement, growth, engagement and progression.
  • Monitor student performance data and academic trends across all campuses.
  • Ensure effective intervention strategies are implemented to support student success.
  • Lead regional approaches to assessment, moderation, reporting and academic quality assurance.
  • Support campuses to analyze performance data and implement targeted improvement plans.
  • Partner with the Regional Head of School to develop strategies that strengthen educational outcomes across the Region.
  • Provide strategic oversight of student support services across the Region.
  • Ensure students with additional learning, wellbeing and support needs are appropriately identified, supported and monitored.
  • Oversee regional frameworks relating to student support, intervention and inclusion.
  • Establish consistent processes for the identification, assessment and review of student support needs across all campuses.
  • Ensure campuses and regional teams proactively identify, access and appropriately utilize available government, statutory and external funding opportunities that support students with additional learning, wellbeing and support needs.
  • Promote individualized support planning that responds to each student's unique strengths, needs and circumstances, ensuring adjustments and interventions are based on demonstrated educational need rather than diagnosis alone.
  • Ensure support resources and interventions are allocated equitably and proportionately, reflecting the level and nature of support required by each student.
  • Monitor student support outcomes and ensure compliance with relevant legislative and organizational requirements.
  • Support campuses in building inclusive learning environments that maximize student success.
  • Lead the strategic implementation of digital learning across the Region.
  • Ensure digital learning tools support the Learning to Learn Framework and educational objectives.
  • Oversee the evaluation, implementation and governance of digital learning platforms.
  • Promote innovation and the effective use of technology to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Monitor adoption, usage and impact of digital learning tools across campuses.
  • Work closely with IT teams to ensure educational technology supports student and educator needs.
  • Lead regional educational systems, student data and timetabling functions.
  • Ensure student management systems, educational platforms and reporting systems operate effectively.
  • Oversee regional timetabling processes to ensure alignment with curriculum requirements, staffing models and organizational expectations.
  • Ensure the integrity, quality and effective use of educational data.
  • Monitor educational operational performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support strategic planning through accurate educational reporting and analysis.
  • Partner closely with the Regional Head of School to deliver educational priorities and regional strategic objectives.
  • Provide expert educational advice to campus leaders and regional leadership teams.
  • Support Campus Principals and Regional Principals to strengthen teaching, learning and student outcomes.
  • Facilitate collaboration and sharing of best practice across campuses.
  • Lead the identification and pursuit of government, philanthropic and grant funding opportunities that strengthen educational programs, student support services, innovation and student outcomes across the Region.
  • Balance regional requirements while ensuring alignment with global educational frameworks and expectations.
  • Contribute as a member of the Regional Executive Management Team.
  • Lead, coach and develop Regional education leaders and specialist teams.
  • Establish clear priorities, performance expectations and accountability measures.
  • Promote collaboration across curriculum, student support, digital learning and systems functions.
  • Support educator capability development through partnership with the Global Teacher Academy.
  • Build leadership capability and succession within the education function.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and professional growth.
  • Ensure educational policies, procedures and standards are implemented consistently across the Region.
  • Lead educational quality assurance processes and reviews.
  • Monitor compliance with curriculum, assessment and educational regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure educational risks, issues and emerging trends are identified and addressed.
  • Support organizational safeguarding requirements through strong educational governance practices.
  • Provide regular reports and recommendations to the Regional Head of School and Global Head of Education.
