About The Position

You’ll work with experienced hotel leadership, shape commercial execution, and build a sales culture that stays ahead of the market instead of chasing it. Millennium Hotels and Resorts is hiring a Regional Director of Sales, North America to lead B2B sales performance across our U.S. portfolio of 8 hotels. This is a hands-on regional leadership role responsible for driving direct B2B revenue growth, strengthening sales execution, and improving commercial discipline across properties. You will partner closely with Hotel General Managers, Directors of Sales, and Directors of Revenue, while collaborating with the National Sales Team, to win more share in our key segments: Groups & Meetings, Leisure, and Business Travel. Requirements

  • Proven sales leadership experience within the hospitality / travel sector
  • Strong background in B2B hotel sales, including groups, transient corporate, and catering/events
  • Track record of improving pipeline generation, prospecting activity, and conversion performance
  • Ability to coach and elevate Directors of Sales and hotel sales teams
  • Experience collaborating with Revenue Management and aligning strategy to demand, pricing, and segmentation
  • Comfort with reporting, KPIs, accountability rhythms, and performance management
  • Willingness to travel as needed across U.S. properties

Responsibilities

  • Lead regional sales execution with a focus on performance, proactive business development, and consistent commercial rhythm.
  • Partner with Hotel General Managers, Directors of Sales, and Directors of Revenue to assess business needs and create targeted sales action plans by property.
  • Ensure sales strategies are executed consistently across the portfolio while remaining market-smart and locally relevant.
  • Direct hotel sales teams to grow local accounts and uncover new opportunities for groups, business travel, and catering/events.
  • Increase prospecting activity across hotels and coach teams to consistently “hunt” new business.
  • Lead monthly reviews of each hotel’s commercial action plan to ensure timelines are met, next steps are scheduled, and hotels remain proactive (not reactive).
  • Monitor pipeline health and identify gaps early, then implement action plans to close them.
  • Review sales performance against targets and evaluate productivity at the individual and team level.
  • Improve sales effectiveness through coaching, structure, process, and performance expectations.
  • Collaborate with the National Sales Team to develop and implement campaigns and initiatives supporting B2B demand across: Groups & Meetings Leisure Business Travel
