About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional with a passion for hospitality and a commitment to excellence. In this role, you will lead the revenue strategy for a portfolio of 10-15 hotels within ZMC Hotels. Your primary objective will be to optimize revenue across all distribution channels, market segments, and sales and marketing initiatives, while ensuring maximum return on investment for our owners and investment partners.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 to 3-years’ experience in revenue management required.
  • Minimum 2 to 3-years hands on experience with branded RMS/CRS systems (any, but not limited to, R&I, GRO, HPP, One Yield, Concerto, N2Pricing, Hyatt PRO, BestRev, TravelClick).
  • Knowledge of property management systems for Hilton, Marriott, IHG, and Best Western is a plus. Must obtain brand RM certifications within the first year of employment, if not already certified.
  • CRME, CHDM, CHIA, or other similar industry certifications preferred. CRME must be obtained within the first year of employment, if not already certified.
  • Experience in a multi-property role preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Well versed in reports such as the STR/Costar, TravelClick Agency360, Rate Strategy360, etc.
  • Knowledge of Delphi (Sales & Catering) preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical, strategical, and forward-thinking skills.
  • Self-discipline with the ability to multitask.
  • Well organized with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills in both written and oral fashion.
  • Results driven with the ability to manage varied workloads and personnel.
  • Comfortable presenting to groups of people.
  • Ability to work across disciplines to maximize room revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize brand systems and resources to monitor hotel and competitor rates, availability, strategies, seasonality, and adjust pricing accordingly to grow RevPAR and RevPAR Index.
  • Maximize each hotel’s top line revenue, profit, and market share through the development and execution of a strategic, demand-based pricing plan for all market segments.
  • Lead the weekly strategy session, reviewing prior week's decisions to evaluate effectiveness, following up on assigned tasks of others, critiquing year-over-year variances by segment, etc.
  • Build and monitor group blocks and cut off dates and conduct displacement analysis to ensure proper contribution from groups or contracts.
  • Be fluent in all aspects of revenue management across multiple brands. Brands in your portfolio may include the following: Hilton, Marriott, IHG, and Best Western,
  • Ability to identify underperformance, develop solutions, implement, and hold accountable to achieve desired outcome.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to improve performance for hotels not achieving fair share.
  • Ensure optimal property participation and production through relevant internet sites and other distribution channels (CRO, GDS, Brand.com, and travel agency consortiums).
  • Effectively identify all online marketing, promotional and distribution opportunities and implement targeted e-commerce action plans.
  • Utilize key performance indicators and yield management tools to identify trends as an early warning system to where future revenue opportunities may lie.
  • Integrate and align sales and revenue management business practices and processes to improve efficiencies and performance.
