About The Position

At Velociti Services, a Regional Director of Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for the overall operational, financial, and strategic performance of an assigned region. This position carries full profit and loss (P&L) accountability and oversees all service delivery operations within the territory, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, operational excellence, employee engagement, and sustainable business growth. As a key member of the leadership team, the Regional Director of Operations serves as a champion of Velociti Services’ commitment to being the industry’s most respected facilities services organization. This leader will drive operational consistency, strengthen client relationships, ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements, and actively contribute to revenue growth through business development and customer expansion initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
  • 7–10+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, preferably within facilities services, janitorial, maintenance, or related industries.
  • Proven success managing multi-site operations with full P&L accountability.
  • Strong track record of revenue growth, client expansion, and operational performance improvement.
  • Deep understanding of financial management, forecasting, and operational KPIs.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all operational services within the assigned region.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, professional services that meet or exceed client expectations and contractual obligations.
  • Develop and implement regional strategies aligned with corporate objectives and growth initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop regional management teams, fostering accountability, performance excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and maintain operational standards, quality assurance programs, procedures, and best practices across all accounts.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to drive operational success.
  • Maintain full P&L responsibility, including revenue growth, expense control, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability.
  • Analyze financial reports, operational metrics, and business trends to identify performance gaps and growth opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts and operational projections.
  • Ensure regional financial performance aligns with organizational objectives while optimizing efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients at all levels.
  • Maintain an active client engagement and visitation program to strengthen partnerships and identify growth opportunities.
  • Respond to customer concerns, service issues, and escalations with urgency and resolution-focused leadership.
  • Conduct and participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews to evaluate performance and future needs.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and People & Culture leadership to achieve regional performance objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts through cross-selling and service line expansion.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Network with prospective clients and industry partners to promote solutions and capabilities.
  • Support proposal development, pricing strategy, and RFP responses.
  • Participate in sales presentations, operational reviews, and client-facing business development activities.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
  • Champion a culture of safety, compliance, and operational integrity across the region.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, client requirements, contractual obligations, and regulatory standards.
  • Promote adherence to quality systems, safety programs, and operational procedures.
  • Partner with leadership to identify and mitigate operational risks.
  • Participate in weekly executive and senior leadership meetings to review financial performance, operational initiatives, compliance updates, and growth strategies.
  • Prepare and present operational and financial performance updates to executive leadership.
  • Translate organizational priorities into actionable regional execution plans.
  • Drive initiatives that improve employee engagement, customer retention, operational efficiency, and profitability.
