Regional Director of Nursing
About The Position
Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Regional Director of Nursing for its Indiana Regional Office in Indianapolis. Centurion provides comprehensive healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Correction and contracts with state and local governments nationwide to serve correctional facilities, state hospitals, and other community settings. The Regional Director of Nursing provides clinical, educational, and professional supervision to site directors of nursing and support staff throughout Indiana. The role works under the direction of the Program VPO and collaborates with medical leadership and other multidisciplinary team members in the correctional environment to improve healthcare for incarcerated patients.
Requirements
- Indiana RN license.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Progressive experience in nursing care.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current tuberculosis documentation.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including a drug screen and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of five years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Corrections, forensic, or criminal justice experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical, educational, and professional supervision for site directors of nursing and support staff throughout Indiana.
