About The Position

The Regional Director of Manufacturing, Americas will be responsible for strategic sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management within a manufacturing environment. This role requires strong knowledge of steel commodities, fabricated components, and industrial supply markets, along with experience in negotiating complex supplier agreements and managing strategic supplier relationships. The position involves analyzing market conditions, cost drivers, pricing trends, and operational risks, and requires excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP, is preferred. The role is predominantly office-based with occasional exposure to manufacturing and supplier environments, and may require extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, and computer work. Travel up to 25% is required for visits to supplier facilities and manufacturing locations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of steel commodities, fabricated components, and industrial supply markets.
  • Experience negotiating complex supplier agreements and managing strategic supplier relationships.
  • Ability to analyze market conditions, cost drivers, pricing trends, and operational risks.
  • Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience working with ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.
