Requirements

  • Valid state RN license
  • 7+ years experience as Director of Nursing in a skilled nursing environment
  • 1+ yrs experience in a Regional Clinical Operations role for a multi-site LTPAC facility operator
  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing or equivalent experience in nursing, clinical operations
  • Extensive experience and established track record of positive facility survey preparation and results
  • Ability to travel >50% within assigned territory
  • Self-directed with the ability to manage multiple facilities concurrently
  • Deadline driven, detail-oriented individual with strong analytical capabilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Supports and interprets NHCA vision and mission
  • Coordinates the development and updates to resident care and clinical systems
  • Ensures clinical standards of care are developed and implemented consistent with company policy, business objectives and regulatory compliance plan
  • Provide timely guidance and support to facility nursing leaders
  • Provide ongoing education and communication regarding policy and procedure updates and clinical practice
  • Participates in QM reviews and development of reason maps for quality improvement process
  • Collects and validates monthly statistical data: Quality Measures, 5 Star Ratings, KPI outcomes
  • Provides onsite management of annual surveys and assistance with plan of correction
  • Contributes to the culture of continuous improvement and innovation in nursing care
