About The Position

The Regional Director will be a member of the Out of School Time Programs Team (OSPT), collaborating with the Managing Director, two Regional Managers, and the 21st Century Family Engagement Specialist, to ensure support and a high-quality experience for 10 regional, campus-based Site Administrators. Additionally, the Director will plan, coordinate, and implement grant specific requirements related to the Quality Assurance Process (QAP), GRPA reporting, fiscal management per federal guidelines, and state meeting attendance. Functional responsibilities of the role also include coaching and developing staff, adhering to data tracking, recording and reporting deadlines, and other requirements as set forth by the district and funding entity. This is a full-time hybrid position located in the Rio Grande Valley. Preference will be given to candidates who live in the region, or who are willing to relocate. Travel within the Region throughout the year as necessary.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree is required.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience managing programs in an education setting is required.
2+ years of experience working with a grant and grant compliance.
Minimum of 5 years of professional work experience.
Ability to successfully matrix manage.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong computer literacy that includes an understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree is preferred.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in K-12 education is preferred.
2+ years of experience managing teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

Set the vision for high quality after school programming through collaboration with managing director and OSPT, maintaining grant specific requirements and compliance.
Coach and Develop Site Administrators (inclusive of, but not limited to: weekly check ins, quarterly strategic meetings with campus administrations, tactical calls, professional development series, tool and resources development) towards Family and Student Attendance goals outlined as compliance metrics within the 21st Century Grant Award.
Enforce site administrator accountability to accurate data collection and entry into the TEAL/TX 21st system.
Develop, plan, and implement site administrator professional development with a specific lens to creating a beneficial and collaborative professional network across multiple campuses and regions, facilitating the development of a strong and invested workforce pipeline and according to QAP requirements and rubrics.
Deliver in the field support and guidance to site administrators and 21st Century programming staff in planning, executing, and sustaining all 21st Century student and parent programming to ensure compliance with grant.
Manage, maintain, and track the district 21st century cycle budget.
Support the Family Engagement Specialist and individual site administrators with planning and development of a robust family engagement and outreach plan.
Collaboration with internal business partners and campus leaders.
