About The Position

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Regional Director, Executive Liability Claims to join their Claims team. This role will provide quality XLP claims consulting and advocacy services to MMA clients in the UMW Region. The position involves assisting producers in the sales process, providing recommendations to adjusters for claim resolutions, and developing claims management strategies with clients. The goal is to help clients reduce claim costs and provide them with the necessary information for effective claims management. Duties also include training, acting as an educational resource, public speaking, prospecting, and partnering with HR/Safety to achieve optimal client outcomes. Requirements

  • 10+ years of claims experience.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance carrier claims services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • General knowledge of Executive Liability lines of coverage.
  • Understanding of contractual policy language requirements and their implications on claim denials.
  • Demonstrated ability to work at a varying pace, managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to adjust priorities often and manage frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to influence others to accept practices and approaches.
  • Ability to communicate and influence executive leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality XLP claims consulting and advocacy services to MMA clients in the UMW Region.
