About The Position

WSP is seeking a full-time Regional Digital Delivery Manager to support its New York State Transportation and Infrastructure (NYS T&I) Region. Reporting to the NYS T&I Regional Delivery Lead, the manager will oversee regional Digital Delivery and CADD operations across all project phases, from opportunity through closeout. The role includes guiding software decisions, ensuring appropriate hardware availability, coordinating staff and digital project workflows, setting standards, training teams, and liaising with project managers, local Technical Excellence Center (TEC) managers, CADD managers, and the National Digital Delivery Lead. The manager will help establish and implement regional and national digital delivery practices, monitor compliance with client and WSP requirements, support high-quality design production, and provide technical guidance to project teams. The position also contributes to project proposals, scopes, budgets, digital delivery plans, quality reviews, training, and continuous improvement. In-office presence is required four days per week, and travel may be needed based on project and staff training requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a closely related discipline or equivalent experience.
At least 12 years of engineering-related experience.
At least 10 years of experience as a Digital Delivery Design Supervisor and BIM Manager/Coordinator.
High-level experience with public- and private-sector work, such as state, city, county, utility district, and private land-development projects.
Strong leadership, oral and written communication, and CAD management skills.
Competence with Bentley and Autodesk Architecture, Engineering & Construction digital delivery products, including regional leadership on 3D/4D digital delivery content.
Working knowledge of Microsoft suite products, including Power BI integration, and related software.
Thorough understanding of multidisciplinary and cross-discipline projects and the coordination needed to deliver high-quality design deliverables.
Extensive AEC industry experience and ability to communicate competently about all AEC disciplines.
Understanding of relevant client digital delivery standards, policies, and procedures.
Ability to work independently and provide guidance and leadership to employees at all levels while adhering to QA/QC and documented procedures.
Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to interact effectively, persuasively, and tactfully with employees at all organizational levels.
Proficiency in technical writing, office automation, software, technology, spreadsheets, and tools.
Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to identify effective solutions and meet project objectives.
Willingness to travel as needed for project and staff training requirements.
Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and ability to follow WSP health, safety, drug/alcohol, and harassment policies.
Flexibility to work varied schedules as business needs require, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt quickly in a high-pressure environment.
Ability to be in the office four days per week.

Responsibilities

Oversee NYS T&I Digital Delivery efforts, determine digital delivery strategy, and assign Digital Delivery Leads to projects.
Provide leadership and review project staffing assignments, delivery schedules, and design procedures.
Develop and mentor Project Digital Delivery Leads in the NYS T&I Region.
Coordinate with the National Digital Delivery team to develop standard practices and workflow documentation.
Implement digital delivery standards, workflows, and procedures to improve quality and efficiency, and provide technical guidance.
Monitor and enforce WSP and client digital delivery standards and procedures for project staff and subconsultants.
Identify opportunities to improve digital delivery processes and address deficiencies, overlapping work, or redundant procedures.
Assist with digital delivery scoping, project proposals, and budget preparation.
Review and approve project digital delivery plans.
Conduct digital delivery assurance reviews, troubleshoot issues, and support effective implementation of digital delivery tools.
Ensure compliance with project-specific procedures for modeling, data collection, analyses, databases, documentation, digital libraries, and design support documents.
Provide technical guidance to design teams and support effective use of CADD tools.
Serve as Digital Delivery Lead on assigned active projects.
Coordinate with regional management, Project Managers, and TEC leads to provide digital delivery support during design and construction.
Coordinate with Project Controls leads on project dashboards, Power BI, and other software platform integration.
Mentor staff and conduct training on digital delivery software packages.
Help develop a library of digital standards.
Conduct training and lessons-learned workshops and establish drafting standards that meet industry, client, and agency requirements.
Communicate and train WSP T&I staff in the integrated project delivery process to support quality drawings and models.
Support engineering teams with visualization presentations and visual cross-discipline clash-detection coordination and collaboration solutions.
Attend meetings and perform additional responsibilities as business needs require.
