About The Position

The Regional Development Coordinator will be responsible for building and strengthening relationships with existing business partners (BPs) through various communication efforts, including visits, enrollments, and financial education workshops. This role involves identifying growth potential within current and new BPs by evaluating membership penetration, developing relationships with key contacts, and assessing additional needs. The coordinator will also attend chamber events, community gatherings, and trade shows to establish new BP relationships and promote all products and services through cross-selling to meet member and BP needs. A key responsibility includes securing and safeguarding membership information collected during BP enrollments and reporting visit results, feedback, and needs to the Membership Development Manager. Accurate record-keeping of Benefit Partner information is essential. The position also includes performing other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • One year to three years of similar or related experience.
  • Experience with business accounts preferred.
  • Equivalent to a college degree (BS or BA in a relevant field).
  • Valid driver's license with ability to be insured by our insurance provider.
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to speak and present in front of diverse and large audiences.
  • Relates well to others regardless of their background or personality.
  • Portrays an image of confidence and professionalism through mannerisms, speech, attitude, and appearance.
  • Excellent telephone skills and comfortable in making warm and cold calls and visits.
  • Proper use of grammatical and written skills as well as technology.
  • Ability to assess the market, trends, and member needs.
  • Able to respond to unexpected questions or challenges while presenting.
  • Must be service oriented.
  • Makes realistic commitments and ensures they are met in a timely manner.
  • Punctual in returning calls and responding to requests.
  • Prepares specific plans, work activities, and accountabilities needed to achieve objectives and goals.
  • Ability to make timely prudent decisions that are well researched.
  • Must be a self-starter with little need for supervision or outside motivation.
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm, drive, and ambition.
  • Thinks and acts with minimum instruction or direction.
  • Moderate lifting required.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities
