About The Position

Immanuel Communities is seeking a Regional Clinical Nurse Consultant (RN) to support our Long-Term Care and Assisted Living communities from our Home Office in Omaha, NE. This high-impact, non-bedside role is ideal for an experienced RN leader, such as a Director of Nursing (DON) or seasoned LTC/AL nurse leader, who is passionate about improving care and driving quality outcomes across multiple sites. The consultant will serve as a clinical expert and strategic partner, leading quality initiatives, supporting regulatory compliance, and coaching clinical teams to deliver exceptional resident care.

Requirements

  • Current and active unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the respective state in which he/she is employed is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required or plan for completion within 3 years of hire.
  • Five (5) years of general and related nursing experience is required.
  • Two (2) years’ experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Equivalent years of education may substitute for experience requirement.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and have reliable means of transportation.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

  • Support excellence in clinical practice standards and service across all Immanuel practice settings.
  • Ensure measurable quality outcomes, process improvement, education/training, policy/procedure, and regulatory compliance for the Clinical Operations department.
  • Partner directly with the Director of Clinical Operations and Medical Director.
  • Provide a diverse range of clinical expertise, tools, and specialized consulting to nurses and staff, ensuring they are empowered and accountable for high quality, evidence-based care.
