MedCap Health is seeking a fully remote, full-time Regional Clinical Director to guide high-impact consultative services across multiple states. Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in good standing (multi-state preferred)
  • 10+ years of NP experience in PALTC, SNF, or LTACH settings
  • 5+ years of experience in leadership, education, or program development
  • Clinical background in cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, or infectious disease
  • Proven success building and leading NPP teams
  • Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, documentation standards, and value-based care
  • Proficiency with EHR systems, dashboards, and care coordination platforms
  • Strategic, confident leader who can operate at scale while empowering clinicians on the ground.

Nice To Haves

  • Multi-state preferred Nurse Practitioner license

Responsibilities

  • Lead specialty consult programs in the post-acute setting, shaping how subspecialty care reaches skilled nursing and assisted living residents.
  • Guide the design, launch, and expansion of consult services across specialties such as cardiology, pulmonology, and nephrology.
  • Work daily with physician specialists, executive leaders, NPs, PAs, and facility teams.
  • Define clinical protocols.
  • Oversee quality metrics.
  • Mentor providers.
  • Manage multi-site operations.
  • Monitor dashboards.
  • Ensure CMS and state compliance.
  • Lead root-cause analyses when needed.
  • Serve as the clinical connector, aligning specialty strategy, quality, workforce development, and operational execution.
