About The Position

Regional dedicated driver opportunity running a pre-loaded route out of Flower Mound, TX. This is a high value, no touch freight account with a dedicated fleet manager and a 2 to 3 day out average. The route operates in Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Drivers will be home weekly for their 34-hour reset. All loads are pre-loaded at origin and dispatched through Samsara or phone. Night driving is required, and trucks stay parked at the distribution center. Drivers may also run other regional areas and pick up backhauls. Time off is on a first come, first served basis, with no time off during peak season (October-January) except for emergencies. No deliveries are scheduled for Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day.

Requirements

At least 22 years of age.
Active CDL A.
1 year of tractor trailer experience in the past 5 years, or 6 months in the past 24 months.
Current DOT medical card.
Clean abstract: max 4 moving violations in 3 years (max 2 in the past year).
Max 3 chargeable accidents in 3 years (max 2 in the past 12 months).
No DUI/alcohol related conviction in the past 10 years.
No felony theft conviction in the past 10 years.
Stable work history and good references required.

Responsibilities

Run a pre-loaded route out of Flower Mound, TX.
Operate within Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
Complete a 34-hour reset typically at home on weekends.
Handle 100% no touch, high value freight.
Dispatched through Samsara or phone.
Perform daily check-in via Samsara or call in.
Drive at night.
Potentially run other regional areas and pick up backhauls.
