Regional CDL A Driver -Home Weekly
About The Position
We are seeking professional CDL-A drivers based within the greater Indianapolis area (including Plainfield, Greenwood, Lebanon, and surrounding communities) for a high-earning dedicated regional account. This position offers top-tier pay, reliable weekly home time, and consistent miles without nationwide long-haul driving. The route operates within IN, MI, IL, OH, WI, with an average of 1,110 miles per week. Drivers will handle an average of 3 loads per week, with 3 to 5 stops per route. Freight handling is 100% driver unload using a roller system, and deliveries are often early morning, requiring night driving. The equipment consists of late-model Freightliner, Kenworth, and International tractors.
Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Minimum 3 months of CDL-A experience within the last 36 months
- Ability to handle physically demanding manual unloading
Responsibilities
- Perform floor-to-ceiling manual unloading of freight.
- Deliver goods via a roller system.
- Complete assigned routes within IN, MI, IL, OH, WI.
- Adhere to a schedule that includes early morning deliveries and night driving.
- Ensure 10-hour breaks are completed prior to store unloading.
Benefits
- Sign-On Bonus: $2,500
- All-In Pay Rate: Up to $1.85 per mile (combined CPM, unloading, and accessorial pay)
- Base CPM: $0.89 – $0.92 per mile (based on experience)
- Unload Pay: $350 per unload
- Backhaul Pay: $30 per backhaul
- Weekly Earnings: $1,900 average | $2,200+ top earners
- Annual Projection: $98,000 – $115,000+ per year
- Orientation/Training: $150 per day (1-week ride-along with a trainer)
- Guaranteed weekly 34-hour reset at home
