About The Position

HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting seasoned, highly skilled CDL-A Drivers to join one of our valued client partners. This opportunity is designed for professional drivers seeking dependable weekly home time, consistent freight, and modern equipment while operating throughout Colorado, Southern Wyoming, and Eastern Utah. This position is ideal for drivers who appreciate predictable routes, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to support a dedicated grocery distribution operation while operating newer equipment equipped for mountain conditions. The Regional CDL-A Driver will support dedicated retail distribution operations while safely transporting freight across established routes. Drivers will operate within a home-weekly environment while servicing locations throughout Colorado and surrounding states using a combination of live unload and drop-and-hook freight.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
  • Minimum three months of verifiable Class A driving experience.
  • Safe driving history and commitment to DOT compliance.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and varying schedules.
  • Ability to operate safely in mountain and regional driving environments.
  • Strong communication and time-management skills.
  • Stable employment history.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

  • Previous experience operating on dedicated accounts.

  • Experience with drop-and-hook and live unload operations.
  • Previous mountain driving experience.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport freight while maintaining on-time delivery performance.
  • Operate late-model automatic transmission tractors equipped with automatic chains.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations.
  • Maintain accurate logs and transportation documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations personnel.
  • Maintain safe driving practices during varying weather and mountain driving conditions.
  • Handle no-touch freight utilizing live unload and drop-and-hook operations.
  • Complete approximately six loads weekly.
  • Average approximately thirteen stops per week.
  • Support two-day mountain runs when assigned.
  • Maintain professionalism while serving retail customers throughout Colorado, Southern Wyoming, and Eastern Utah.
  • Support a 24/7 operation that includes nights, weekends, and holiday schedules.
