About The Position

Hoover Treated Wood Products, Inc. (HTWP), the premier manufacturer of fire-retardant treated wood, is seeking a Regional Business Manager for the Florida region. This role is responsible for increasing profitable sales through HTWP’s established network of wholesale distribution partners and other sales channels.

Requirements

Willingness to travel (overnight) extensively across the state of Florida.
Self-driven and able to work remotely.
Must possess the technical acumen to convey the varied product and service benefits that define the HTWP brand.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree with 5 years of outside sales success is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of commodity lumber and plywood markets.
Building product channel sales and lumber or plywood sales experience is preferred.
Ability to build rapport with clients.

Responsibilities

Create, present, and sell company products and services to new and existing customers.
Prospect and contact potential customers.
Reach agreed-upon sales targets by the deadline.
Resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of the latest developments.
Conduct product knowledge sessions in the field.
Participate in trade shows.
Survey Distributors, Wholesalers, Retailers, Drywall Supply Houses, and occasional job sites.
Gauge and report fire retardant treated wood volume and market share.
Promote HTWP’s products using the Design and Construction Guide on sales calls.
Promote Hoover stocking Distributors to Retailers in all markets.
