About The Position

Our client is entering a pivotal moment as they prepare for commercialization. They are seeking a high-impact Regional Business Director to lead field execution and drive commercial performance across a defined geography. This leader will be responsible for managing and developing a team of field professionals while ensuring alignment with enterprise commercial strategy. Working closely with cross-functional partners, you will play a critical role in delivering successful product launches, driving customer engagement, and building a high-performing regional organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales and/or strategic account management leadership within rare disease, CNS, or specialty pharmaceutical environments.
  • Demonstrated direct people management experience.
  • Recent national and regional awards recognizing top performance.
  • Evidence of consistent overachievement against commercial targets.
  • Proven CNS or specialty product launch experience, including participation in a full commercial launch cycle from pre-launch through post-launch execution.
  • Experience operating in agile, fast-moving organizations; biotech or emerging pharma preferred.
  • Ability to perform effectively in high-expectation, scaling environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of field sales professionals to achieve and exceed commercial objectives.
  • Drive execution of a unified commercial strategy across the region in alignment with enterprise priorities.
  • Partner with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Patient Services, and Market Access to deliver coordinated customer engagement.
  • Support field readiness and execution across pre-launch, launch, and post-launch phases.
  • Ensure teams are equipped with the capabilities, tools, and behaviors required for successful product launches.
  • Drive performance through clear goal setting, KPI tracking, and ongoing coaching.
  • Provide insights from the field to inform strategy and improve execution.
  • Build a strong, accountable, and high-performance team culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies.
