About The Position

Reporting to the Vice President – Head of Sales US, the Regional Business Director (RBD) - Central Region is responsible for direction of the Ruconest Account Managers and execution of all Sales and Marketing activities and objectives within a large geography of roughly 1/3rd of the United States. They also work closely with Patient Services and Managed Care to pull through patients to start and keep them on Ruconest therapy.

Requirements

  • 4 year undergraduate degree
  • Excellent skills in planning, organization and problem solving.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a Regional Director or Region Sales Manager.
  • Travel – 50%-75 % travel time required for the position where travel occurs locally or internationally, if applicable

Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement Business Planning Process with the Ruconest sales team.
  • Effectively manage the Region sales team to maximize productivity while at the same time protecting the company.
  • Work closely with Marketing in the design and implementation of the marketing plan.
  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding the corporate sales objectives. This includes, but is not limited to effective hiring of sales personnel, execution of the marketing and territory business plans.
  • Responsible for coordination of patient pull through with Patient Services and Managed Care.
  • Effectively hire, train, and deploy the Ruconest sales force to maximize productivity of the group.
  • Responsible for coordinating with Marketing for the design and implementation of the U.S. marketing plan.
  • Consult with Marketing on marketing plan and rollout.
  • Coordinate with Patient Services, Managed Care, Medical Science Liaisons, etc. on effectively operating the day-to-day business.
  • Manage T&E budget of sales organization.
  • Collaborate with HR department on Performance Review process including rolling out process to direct reports. Meet with direct reports to set goals and objectives, as well as development goals at the beginning of the year.
  • Help monitor the effectiveness and make adjustments to the incentive plan as needed as part of a broader team.
  • Maintain open lines of communication throughout the year to facilitate the process.
  • Manager will at minimum meet with each employee three times per year: Goal and Objective setting for the new year, Mid-year Review, and yearend review.
  • Ideally, this should be an ongoing dialogue between the manager and the direct report.
  • Line manager will also attend and participate in calibration meetings regarding direct reports.
  • Effectively assesses the development needs of the Ruconest Sales team and ensure initiatives are implemented to address training needs and improve performance.
  • Collaborate with HR to identify and develop those high potential employees that can take on more responsibility as the company grows.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
