The Krusteaz Company is seeking a Midsouth Regional Business Development Manager (RBDM) to join their team. This sales role is responsible for exceeding annual sales goals within their assigned geographic area. The RBDM will partner with the broker agency to create and implement local market strategies for selling new and existing products to targeted customers and distributor partners. A key aspect of this role is establishing and nurturing relationships with important operator customers, distributors, and broker agency partners to foster sustainable, long-term growth. The position requires the RBDM to reside in Dallas, Texas. The role involves developing an Annual Operating Plan to meet regional objectives, owning direct relationships with decision-makers at various levels within Regional Chains, Key Operators, and Distributor Partners, and actively acquiring new business through continuous sourcing and selling. The RBDM will also penetrate existing customer accounts by identifying, presenting, and closing new opportunities, while retaining the current product mix and volume. Effective presentation of The Krusteaz Company's capabilities and go-to-market strategies is crucial, as is the ability to develop, negotiate, and maintain customer contracts. The RBDM will foster a positive environment to motivate broker partners to drive sales and provide value-added support through product training, selling strategies, and market visit execution. Maintaining high visibility through regular travel within the region is essential for positive representation and maximizing sales in conjunction with the broker. Monthly broker reviews will be conducted to assess progress and performance, and CRM will be utilized to manage the region's portfolio, track sales, and deliver the sales budget. Managing trade spending programs and T/E in a cost-effective manner, ensuring alignment with budgets, is also a key responsibility.
