About The Position

The firm is thriving and is seeking a highly motivated Regional Assurance Director - Audit Professional Practices for its growing Professional Practices team. Cherry Bekaert’s Professional Practices team provides end‑to‑end support to the assurance service line on audit methodology, quality control, integration of acquired firms, audit process and innovation, and technical accounting. This role will serve as the main quality resource for assurance within one of the firm’s various regions, performing quality reviews and consultations and guiding teams on complex issues. This highly visible position offers excellent training, development, and professional growth, with lots of contact with outstanding audit teams in a variety of commercial industries. An ideal fit for the firm displays a passion for superior technical skills, uncompromising integrity, excellent project management abilities, and leadership skills. Requirements

10+ years of experience working for a Big 4, large national, or regional accounting firm
QC Experience to include EQRs over various industries
PCAOB audit experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting
CPA certified and have an active CPA license
Excellent project management skills

Oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities
