About The Position

Eaton’s Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions (GEIS) division is seeking a Regional Application Engineer to support commercial and industrial markets as part of the Regional Sales team. This remote role is for candidates currently residing in Littleton, Colorado; Boise, Idaho; or Salt Lake City, Utah. Relocation is not provided. Active-duty military service member candidates are exempt from the geographic limitation. The Regional Application Engineer is a consultative technical sales professional who supports electrical consultants, designers, end users, and specifiers serving local commercial, institutional, industrial, and government municipality markets. The role requires strong technical and commercial skills and experience with electrical power distribution and mechanical support systems used in these markets. Its primary purpose is to establish marketplace acceptance of Eaton Crouse-Hinds and B-Line series products while providing technical leadership and mentoring to sales engineers, outside representative agencies, and internal and external customers. The position collaborates with electrical consultants, contractors, and specifying engineers on the application, layout, and specification of B-Line and Crouse-Hinds products across various project verticals. The expected annual salary range is $99,000–$145,000, and the position is eligible for a variable incentive program. The listed salary range is a general guideline; compensation depends on candidate skills, experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
At least seven years of experience in electrical sales and/or electrical, mechanical, construction, or industrial engineering.
Must currently reside in Littleton, Colorado; Salt Lake City, Utah; or Boise, Idaho, unless exempt as an active-duty military service member candidate.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Lead technical presale application and support for Crouse-Hinds and B-Line series products with consulting firms in assigned sales geographies.
Provide strategic technical leadership and mentoring to sales teams in assigned geographies.
Conduct product seminars and training on Crouse-Hinds and B-Line products and solutions for consultants, specifiers, end users, channel partners, and sales engineers.
Work with product lines to develop tools and literature for system designers and provide voice-of-customer input to guide product development.
Provide technical application support on target projects, including reviewing drawings, contributing to sales pursuit strategies, and interfacing with stakeholders involved in electrical infrastructure design and specification.
Assist customers with design-build opportunities, specification reviews, lighting audits, and other consultative activities.
