About The Position

Indiana Tech is seeking a Regional AI Partnerships Manager to join The Learning Exchange. This role serves as a crucial link between Indiana Tech, regional employers, workforce organizations, and community partners. The manager will cultivate and manage employer relationships to support applied AI projects, workforce development, corporate training, and industry engagement for both The Learning Exchange and the AI Institute. The position involves representing Indiana Tech regionally, maintaining strategic partnerships, and connecting employers with AI readiness, workforce training, and talent development programs. Collaboration with AI Institute leadership, community organizations, workforce boards, economic development partners, and employer networks is essential to identify emerging workforce needs and expand opportunities for students and organizations. Key responsibilities include developing employer partnerships, supporting corporate training agreements, coordinating employer engagement, monitoring partnership outcomes, and contributing to the growth of regional AI-focused education and workforce initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economic Development, Higher Education Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in employer relations, business development, workforce partnerships, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining external partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of employer needs, workforce development trends, and regional labor markets.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in a related discipline.
  • Experience negotiating corporate contracts, subscriptions, or licensing agreements.
  • Experience with CRM, employer engagement, or partnership management systems.
  • Experience coordinating partnerships across multiple institutions, organizations, or consortium structures.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage employer relationships that support applied AI projects, workforce development initiatives, corporate training opportunities, and industry engagement.
  • Represent Indiana Tech across the region, maintain strategic partnerships, and connect employers to AI readiness, workforce training, and talent-development programs.
  • Collaborate closely with AI Institute leadership, community organizations, workforce boards, economic-development partners, and employer networks to identify emerging workforce needs and expand opportunities for students and organizations.
