About The Position

The Regional Administrator is a key leadership position responsible for the clinical and financial success of designated or assigned Program(s) on an interim basis. This role oversees and leads the patient care team, manages business operations, and ensures regulatory compliance and quality assurance improvements. The Regional Administrator collaborates with corporate departments, outside consultants, State/County agencies, community partners, and consumer groups. Employees in this role are required to participate in a structured on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in social services or related field and licensure as required by state of operation and program type to be maintained throughout employment
  • Six (6) years of experience in an administrative management position in a health care setting
  • Two (2) of the six years must be as a Telecare Program Administrator
  • Two (2) years of responsibility for supervision of professional staff, budgeting, program planning, and licensing
  • Knowledge of community mental health services, psychiatric rehabilitation concepts, and recovery philosophy
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout assigned region, including driving to support Program
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be CPR, First Aid, and CPI certified (hands-on course) on date of employment or prior to providing direct client care and maintain current certification throughout employment
  • All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification.
  • If the position requires driving, valid driver license, a motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for both clinical and financial success of the designated or assigned Program(s), on an interim basis.
  • Overseeing and leading the team of people providing patient care.
  • Managing the business operations of the Program.
  • Managing all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Program(s).
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance and actively overseeing quality assurance performance improvements.
  • Collaborating with all corporate departments and outside consultants and representatives of the Program(s) to State/County agencies, community partners, and consumer groups.
  • Participating in a structured on-call rotation, remaining accessible and prepared to respond to work-related needs within a designated timeframe.
  • Planning, organizing, directing and controlling the administrative function for the Program.
  • Acting as the privacy contact for the Program(s), maintaining all required records, logs, and systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Managing all strategic planning activities of the Program(s) with the primary goal of ensuring ongoing effectiveness of the Program(s) and alignment with the overall Telecare values.
  • Ensuring compliance with Telecare's policies and procedures.
  • Reviewing and supervising licensed staff as needed to support staffing and operational requirements.
  • Providing Clinical supervision in accordance with licensure requirements and organizational standards.
  • Serving as a mentor/role model to other Administrators/leaders in the region leading employee engagement activities and stabilizing high risk Programs.
  • Implementing all Program policies and procedures through the appropriate assignment of duties to the administrative staff.
  • Establishing staffing requirements for all departments, directing the recruitment, selection, and when necessary, disciplinary action within the Program.
  • Supervising all department managers and maintaining supervisory authority over personnel assigned to the departments.
  • Ensuring that the Program(s) complies with all applicable laws and regulations and keeping informed about changes in regulations.
  • Establishing a clear operational vision and goals for assigned Program(s).
  • Establishing the culture of the Program(s) and creating initiatives that reinforce the culture and employee engagement.
  • Developing and maintaining a strong liaison to the Corporate office, ensuring corporate initiatives are implemented and maintained.
  • Developing and maintaining productive work relationships with State and local agency representatives; actively participating in meeting customer needs and adapting to always changing customer and community needs; acting as liaison between the Program(s) and State/County customers and community partners.
  • Managing assigned Program(s) within allocated budgetary parameters and collaborating in the development of the fiscal budget.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and Program(s) sustainability.
