Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Regional Accountant to support the financial operations of multiple roofing companies within our portfolio. This role serves as a key partner between local operating teams and the regional finance organization, helping ensure financial data is accurate, timely, and aligned across systems. We need a professional with proven skills in end-to-end transactional accounting. The Regional Accountant will play a critical role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and ongoing analysis of financial activity across assigned brands. Success in this role requires strong accounting fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and a natural curiosity to investigate discrepancies, understand business drivers, and continuously improve processes. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working cross-functionally, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to develop a deep understanding of how operational activity translates into financial results.

Requirements

  • AA or BS in Finance, Accounting, or Business
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
  • Proficiency with accounting systems (ERP) and CRM platforms
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines independently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Strategic thinker with sound judgment, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the professionalism to handle confidential information with discretion

  • Experience with Sage Intacct
  • Experience in industries with seasonal revenue cycles and fiscal-year expense timing variability
  • Experience in consumer services, construction, and/or private equity–backed organizations

Responsibilities

  • Manage the month-end close process for assigned roofing company brands and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain the integrity of financial records through general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Monitor and reconcile financial data between ServiceTitan and Sage Intacct, researching and resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Partner with local operating teams to understand business activity, improve data accuracy, and support informed decision-making.
  • Assist with annual audits and maintain organized supporting documentation for financial and compliance requirements.
  • Support sales tax, permits, bonds, and other regulatory compliance activities as needed.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and proactively investigate issues to determine root causes and recommend solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, customer service, and leadership teams to support business objectives and special projects.
