About The Position

Nations Roof is seeking a Regional Account Manager to join our dynamic sales team and contribute to our continued success. We are seeking a motivated sales individual to drive the development of recurring service revenue for local and regional accounts. In this role, you'll be a key roofing resource for our clients, providing expert, solutions-based recommendations for both company-owned and leased properties. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in expanding our local client base. Nations Roof, a leader in commercial roofing solutions, is known for our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Our projects range in scope from large-scale new construction to complete tear-offs, re-roofing and renovations of existing building exteriors, and on-going roof maintenance, inspection, and repairs of all major commercial roof systems.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in sales and business development within the commercial roofing industry.
  • Understanding of commercial roofing processes and terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively internally and externally at C-level.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new client relationships in your designated territory.
  • Prepare and deliver service estimates, sales proposals, and presentations.
  • Close business deals by coordinating requirements, negotiating contracts, and aligning contract needs with business operations.
  • Engage in cold calling, B2B marketing, and attend networking events to generate leads.
  • Maximize market potential with existing customers and conduct site visits.
  • Identify and address customer needs by suggesting appropriate products and services.
  • Build and maintain a network to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Plan and organize daily schedules to visit new businesses and follow up with existing clients.
  • Analyze various roofing systems (BUR, Modified Bitumen, EPDM, TPO, PVC, metal) and provide estimates for repair, restoration, or replacement options.
  • Review and prepare project bids with accurate cost assessments, working with estimating team.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team and clients to finalize sales and address suggested repairs.
  • Offer technical expertise and foster relationships with local facility representatives.
  • Use project databases to provide roof inspections and other services.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and local management.
  • Undertake additional projects and duties as assigned by the Manager.
