About The Position

R&B Wholesale Distributors is a leading appliance distributor serving multifamily, property management, renovation, and new construction customers across the western United States. We provide competitive pricing, dedicated customer service, professional delivery, in-unit delivery, haul-away services, and in-house installation support. We are growing our Property Management division and looking for high-performing Regional Account Managers (RAMs) to help expand our footprint in key markets. The Regional Account Manager is responsible for driving profitable sales growth within an assigned territory by developing new business, growing existing accounts, and becoming a trusted partner to multifamily and property management customers. This is a true outside sales role. You will spend most of your time in the field prospecting, meeting customers, walking properties, identifying opportunities, and closing business. Success in this role requires strong relationship-building skills, disciplined prospecting, strategic account management, and a passion for winning new business.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of outside B2B sales experience (multifamily, property management, appliances, MRO, construction supply, flooring, HVAC, or related industries preferred)
  • Proven track record of prospecting and closing new business
  • Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with decision-makers at all levels
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and highly accountable
  • Strong territory management and time management skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and sales reporting tools

Nice To Haves

  • Existing multifamily or property management relationships
  • Knowledge of apartment turns, renovations, CapEx projects, and maintenance operations
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, relationship-driven sales environment

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new multifamily, property management, ownership group, and renovation accounts within assigned territory
  • Grow revenue and market share within existing customer base
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through consistent field activity, cold calling, networking, and follow-up
  • Conduct in-person sales meetings, property visits, and portfolio reviews with customers
  • Identify appliance replacement, renovation, unit turn, and capital project opportunities
  • Develop strong relationships with property managers, regional managers, maintenance leaders, asset managers, and ownership groups
  • Partner with internal teams including customer service, delivery, installation, and operations to ensure excellent customer experience
  • Maintain CRM activity, sales reporting, and pipeline visibility
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and gross margin goals
