About The Position

TerraClear is seeking a Regional Account Manager to build strong, trusted relationships with Growers and Resellers while driving revenue growth across the assigned territory. This is a field-based role focused on in-person customer engagement, solution-based selling, and long-term account development within the Agriculture Industry. The ideal candidate is a proven Ag Sales Professional who thrives in a fast-moving start up environment, understands farming operations, and is comfortable selling innovative technology-driven solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of successful sales experience in agriculture, with a proven track record of exceeding targets
  • 5+ years of agriculture industry experience with strong knowledge of local territories
  • Demonstrated success selling agricultural products
  • Established relationships within Grower and Reseller communities
  • Comfortable operating in an ambiguous, rapidly evolving environment
  • Strong organizational skills with a commitment to documentation and clear communication
  • Independent, self-motivated self-starter with high activity levels
  • Willingness to travel up to 2–3 weeks per month

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and existing industry relationships
  • Identify, research, and qualify potential customers within your assigned territory
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings to understand customer needs and present tailored solutions
  • Articulate the features, benefits, and value proposition of TerraClear’s products, including: Mapping solutions Picking Services Autonomous imaging technology
  • Negotiate and close sales deals, including pricing, contracts, purchase orders, and customized solutions
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with Growers, Resellers, and Industry Partners
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by deeply understanding customer operations and business challenges
  • Represent TerraClear with professionalism and credibility across the agricultural community
  • Work closely with internal teams (Marketing, Customer Success, Operations, Inside Sales and Product Development) to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous improvement
  • Provide regular customer feedback to inform sales strategy, forecasting, and product development
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication using TerraClear systems (Smartsheet, HubSpot, Google Docs, Slack)
