About The Position

As Vice President, Regional Account Executive (RAE), the successful candidate will drive growth of Fidelity's 401(k) recordkeeping and workplace solutions business throughout New York State (excluding New York City and Long Island). This role is responsible for driving new business growth by building and leveraging a network of financial advisors and third party administrators (TPAs) to identify opportunities and connect clients with Fidelity's retirement plan solutions. Serving as a strategic resource on retirement plan solutions, the RAE will provide a consultative sales experience for advisors, TPAs, and small business owners that helps improve client outcomes and expand Fidelity's presence in the market.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in consultative sales, financial services, or benefit-related industries.
  • Demonstrated success uncovering client needs and delivering tailored retirement and financial wellness solutions.
  • Proven ability to build and execute territory business plans, including market segmentation, pipeline development, and coverage strategy.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to earn trust and influence decision-makers.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, results-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of 401(k) recordkeeping, administration, investments, and employee benefits.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses, or the ability to obtain them upon hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling through intermediaries such as financial advisors, TPAs, and consultants.
  • Experience developing referral networks and driving business growth through financial advisors and other key influencers.
