About The Position

The successful candidate will be a resourceful, experienced Sales Manager who has demonstrated the ability to lead and influence others (internally and externally) to achieve mutually beneficial goals in a dynamic environment. Required skills include strategic planning, volume forecast and budget ownership, effective multifunctional collaboration, and the ability to derive actionable insights from data to craft compelling selling stories and lead joint business planning, while delivering profitable sales and share growth. Experience in broker management is preferred. This position manages part of the Clorox portfolio for Regional Grocery customers headquartered on the East Coast. Requirements

  • 5+ years of CPG experience
  • 2+ years of broker sales or people management experience
  • Field/Customer or equivalent experience
  • Develop strategic plans and ensure execution to deliver quota
  • Broker management and influence
  • Customer and Category knowledge
  • Consultative/Solution selling
  • Customer Business Planning-- Drive process and use tools/data (i.e. Exceedra for volume forecasting and budget management, Power BI, IRI/Circana)
  • Navigate the Clorox structure (Who to go to for what? How to get things done?)
  • Cross-functional Knowledge and Influence
  • Candidate supports customers on the East Coast
  • Candidate must have the ability to travel 15%-20% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Engage our People as Business Owners: Coach, develop, motivate team members as appropriate. Develop one's own capabilities to promote growth. Lead and influence Crossmark broker partners.
  • Drive the Business: Sets strategic direction for the business, a framework for broker partners. Leads execution of volume, sales and profit objectives for assigned Categories with Customers.
  • Customer Planning and Development: Understands and drives Business planning process for assigned Categories at Customer. Delivers Joint Business Plans for assigned Categories at Customer that achieve results and are within trade budget.
  • Build Capability to Drive Growth and Eliminate Waste: Facilitates connection between Customer team, cross-functional resources and category counterparts.
