About The Position

Biote Medical is seeking a Region Manager to lead sales teams in the Southwest (Utah, Colorado, Arizona, Northern New Mexico). The role involves partnering with providers to offer cutting-edge bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) and healthy aging solutions. The Region Manager will be responsible for recruiting qualified physicians and practitioners, driving sales performance, ensuring strong customer service, and fostering continuous learning within their team. This leadership position requires cross-functional collaboration and promotion of corporate values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or significant related work experience.
  • Excellent in business software such as Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication skills, both orally and written.
  • Ability to conduct professional and effective presentations to a practitioner.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding assigned tasks.
  • Ability to react to time pressures and to overcome objections effectively.
  • Ability to work extended hours as duties require.
  • Strong teamwork, communication (written and oral), client management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum of 7 years of sales experience in a business-to-business model.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years managing 5-7 direct reports.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Prior history or ability to read and understand medical and scientific studies.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire and retain extensive knowledge of hormone replacement therapy.
  • Develop and execute quarterly goal setting for the Incentive Compensation Plan in collaboration with the VP of Sales.
  • Formulate sales strategies for assigned markets in collaboration with the VP of Sales and Marketing team to attain revenue targets.
  • Manage expenses to ensure sales objectives are met within budget.
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with team members, sales team, and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist and support the sales team to execute sales strategy and implement solutions for customer needs.
  • Effectively present Biote’s training and business program to physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, office managers, and staff.
  • Cultivate and maintain mutually productive partnerships with practitioners.
  • Conduct physician, staff, and patient training in Biote’s business protocols.
  • Attend marketing and sales events for prospects and current customers.
  • Update all relevant sales activities in the Company’s CRM system.
  • Integrate individual sales plans and account profiles into a broader regional sales plan and coach sales team accordingly.
  • Prepare quarterly regional sales forecasts and participate in determining market potential and sales expense estimates.
  • Monitor regional sales performance and initiate corrective action as required.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor a region targeting program.
  • Identify sales forecast gaps, submit corrective strategies, and implement aggressive sales growth.
  • Coach sales representatives on selling skills and targeting of accounts, sharing personal selling experiences.
  • Maintain knowledge of the industry and competition, preparing the team to counter competition.
  • Ensure effective implementation of representative customer records, key contacts, reports, and company policies.
  • Plan and control expenses to ensure sales objectives are met within budget, responsible for revenue budgets.
  • Attend and participate in customer, company, and industry sponsored forums and courses.
  • Maintain a talent mindset and actively develop a pipeline of future Biote sales representative candidates.
  • Ensure policies are followed in recruiting and selecting talent.
  • Spend a minimum of 70% time in the field with each sales representative to support professional development and customer relationships.
  • Maintain skills and knowledge to sell the entire product line and differentiate products against competitors.
  • Ensure applicable Biote SOPs are understood and implemented.
  • Perform other related duties as required or requested.
