Job Description: The Vascular Technologist performs non-invasive vascular diagnostic studies in accordance with accreditation standards and established clinical protocols to assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of vascular disease. This role obtains patient histories, conducts comprehensive vascular examinations, assesses preliminary findings, and documents results accurately for physician review. Responsibilities include correlating clinical symptoms with diagnostic findings, maintaining quality assurance standards, managing equipment and supply inventories, and ensuring accurate recordkeeping and distribution of completed studies. The technologist may also travel to mobile or off-site locations as needed and participates in the education Education, Credentials, Licenses: Graduate of an accredited (or accreditation eligible) cardiovascular ultrasound degree program and/or qualifying experience in accordance with IAC guidelines. Registered in non-invasive imaging with active status registry from ARDMS or CCI. New graduates will have 1 year after graduating to obtain registry. Specialized Knowledge: Excellent understanding of Vascular Hemodynamics. Skilled us of vascular testing equipment. Experience with Color Flow Vascular Imaging. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited (or accreditation eligible) cardiovascular ultrasound degree program and/or qualifying experience in accordance with IAC guidelines.
  • Registered in non-invasive imaging with active status registry from ARDMS or CCI.
  • New graduates will have 1 year after graduating to obtain registry.
