Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited Program
• RRT - Registered Radiologic Technologist with Current Ohio License.
• ARRT - Registered Radiologic Technologist with Current Ohio License.
• BLS - Basic Life Support (must obtain within first 30 days of employment).
• New graduates: Must have passed ARRT registry exam to be Ohio Department of Health license eligible before start date.
• Must obtain Ohio license within first 14 days of employment.
• Registered CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• 1-2 years CT experience

Responsibilities

• The CT Technologist operates complex equipment to produce high quality cross sectional anatomy scans.
• This individual collaborates with the Radiologist, the Supervisor and the staff in developing, implementing and evaluating department procedures and protocols.
• This position has direct patient care, access to confidential patient information and makes decisions independently and in collaboration with the radiologist, the supervisor and the staff.
• This individual works under the indirect supervision of the Radiology Supervisor.
