About The Position

A-Gas Americas is hiring a full-time Refurbisher - RTC Operator for its production team in Bowling Green, Ohio. The position is available on first or second shift and performs timely, high-quality cylinder refurbishment under the direction of the production supervisor. The work involves testing, blasting, banding, painting, inspecting, and certifying cylinders, along with maintaining product documentation and handling non-conformities. Operators read labels and interpret color-coding to identify cylinder contents and gas hazards. Requirements

Ability to work Monday through Friday on either first shift (7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) or second shift (3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.).
Ability to operate forklifts, clamps, and overhead cranes, and earn certification within 60 days of hire.
Ability to independently move or lift 50 pounds, work in environments with uncontrolled climate, and use hands frequently throughout the day.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
Computer proficiency.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Refurbish incoming and outgoing cylinders.
Use equipment to test, blast, band, and paint cylinders.
Inspect finished cylinders for quality and verify they meet client specifications, internal requirements, and industry regulations.
Certify cylinders as needed.
Maintain product documentation and accurately handle non-conformities.
Read labels and interpret color-coding to identify cylinder contents and gas hazards.
