About The Position

Blaine Brothers is seeking a 1st shift Refrigeration Trailer Technician for their Trailer Service Shop. This position involves the complete repair and general maintenance of refrigerated semi-trailers, as well as, all other styles and sizes of trailers. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical aptitude, be detail-oriented, willing to assist where needed, and have a strong work ethic. Requirements

Mechanical background in heavy duty trucking industry or similar field with diesel engine repair experience.
Ability to learn to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.

Technical aptitude with basic electric diagnostic / troubleshooting experience a plus
Welding experience a plus
Basic tool set and tool box to start (assistance programs available)

Responsibilities

Perform all levels of maintenance and repair services on various brands of refrigeration units.
Perform minor and major repairs on reefer units including freon leaks, electrical issues, engine repairs and rebuilds, etc.
Test lines, components, and connections using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic test equipment.
Read complex schematics associated with the refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
Clean and wash units using a power washer.
Work safely following Safety Policies and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
