About The Position

This position is for a 2nd Shift Refrigeration Technician at JBS USA. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining site ammonia refrigeration systems, as well as performing day-to-day maintenance and repair of equipment. The technician will also be responsible for labeling and tagging systems, supporting plant equipment, and ensuring a safe plant environment that meets all federal, state, and local environmental requirements. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must pass a mechanical knowledge test
• Strong knowledge of industrial ammonia refrigeration operation in a food industry environment preferred
• Basic computer skills necessary
• Must be able to learn quickly and make good decisions
• Must be able to work in a team environment and perform a variety of duties

Nice To Haves

• PLC knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Support the plant equipment
