About The Position

This position is for a 3rd Shift Refrigeration Technician at JBS USA. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining site ammonia refrigeration systems, performing day-to-day maintenance and repairs on equipment, and supporting plant equipment while ensuring a safe plant environment that meets all federal, state, and local environmental requirements. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must pass a mechanical knowledge test
• Strong knowledge of industrial ammonia refrigeration operation in a food industry environment preferred
• Basic computer skills necessary
• Must be able to learn quickly and make good decisions
• Must be able to work in a team environment and perform a variety of duties

Nice To Haves

• PLC knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain site ammonia refrigeration systems
• Day to day maintenance repair to equipment
• Perform labeling and tagging of systems and/or checks for verifications
• Support the plant equipment, and maintaining a safe plant meeting all federal, state, and local environment requirements
• Other duties as assigned
