Requirements

Proficiency in reading and writing; ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels.
Maintain a safe work environment by following Tyson Foods' safety protocols and procedures.
Demonstrated ability to accurately complete paperwork and maintain detailed records.
A minimum of six (6) months of industrial refrigeration/ammonia or HVAC work experience with a single employer in the last 12 months OR currently attending/graduated from an industrial maintenance training program in the last three (3) years.
Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson have minimum waiting period of 180 days and a 3-time employment limit for this location.

Responsibilities

Monitor and record temperatures of hot box coolers to ensure optimal performance.
Efficiently control condensation to maintain system integrity and prevent issues.
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on the spray chill system, including safety and showcase work orders in designated areas.
Utilize effective communication skills to understand and execute instructions received via radio.
Accurately complete all job-related paperwork and ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities.
Complete maintenance level training and adhere to grooming standards (clean-shaven).
