About The Position

This position is for a Refrigeration Technician at JBS USA, responsible for the maintenance and repair of site ammonia refrigeration systems. Requirements

• Must pass a mechanical knowledge test
• Strong knowledge of industrial ammonia refrigeration operation in a food industry environment preferred
• Basic computer skills necessary
• Must be able to learn quickly and make good decisions
• Must be able to work in a team environment and perform a variety of duties

Nice To Haves

• PLC knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain site ammonia refrigeration systems
• Perform day-to-day maintenance and repair to equipment
• Perform labeling and tagging of systems and/or checks for verifications
• Support plant equipment
• Maintain a safe plant meeting all federal, state, and local environment requirements
• Other duties as assigned
